ADFS Authentication
ADFS Authentication enables you to log into Logpoint using Microsoft’s Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS). ADFS provides you with single sign-on access to systems and applications located across trusted organizational units.

Enhancement
ADFS Authentication has been updated to comply with Logpoint v7.0.0.
Installation
To install ADFS Authentication v6.0.0:
- Download the .pak file from the Download section above.
- Import the .pak file to Logpoint from Settings >> System >> Applications.

Verification
After installing ADFS Authentication, the Login Options panel displays the AD FS Authentication tab:

Enhancement
From now on, when deleting the owner of a shared dashboard, an alert rule, a search template, or a report, you can transfer the ownership to another user or delete the shared resources along with the user. You can do this from the Transfer Ownership panel.
Bug Fix
The following bug fix has been resolved:
- You can now change the password of the user's account from the OAuth authentication server only.
Installation
Follow these steps to install the ADFS Authentication v5.2.0 application:
- Download the pak file of the ADFS Authentication application from the Download section above.
- Install the application by importing the pak file to LogPoint under Settings >> System >> Applications.

Bug Fixes
- The Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) token has been added to the AD FS's login and logout sessions.
- Previously, when your session expired and you logged into LogPoint using the AD FS credentials, the application redirected to the dashboard page and not to the previous URL. This has now been resolved.
Installation
Follow these steps to install the AD FS Authentication Plugin v3.4.2:
- Download the zip file of the AD FS Authentication application from the Download section above.
- Extract the zip file to obtain the ADFS_Authentication_3.4.2.pak file.
- Install the application by importing the pak file to LogPoint under Settings >> System >> Applications.
Refer to the Configuration section of the AD FS Authentication Manual to view the details on the configuration.
