Important Notice

You must install the plugin in LogPoint v6.4.0 before upgrading to LogPoint v6.5.0.

General Description

The Linux Firmware Plugin is an application that installs the linux-firmware 1.157.21 in LogPoint to establish a network connection after upgrading to LogPoint v6.5.0.

Installation

Follow these steps to install the Linux Firmware v3.0.0 Plugin:

  1. Download the Linux Firmware Plugin package provided in the Download section above. 
  2. Install the package by importing the pak file to LogPoint under Settings >> System >> Applications.

Note:  Uninstalling the application does not remove the installed firmware.

    To view current linux-firmware package installed:

    apt list --installed |grep linux-firmware

    linux-firmware/now 1.157.6 all [installed,local]

    To check if this firmware will apply to your hardware, check changelog of each version at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-firmware/+changelog
