Important Notices

• Install LogPoint-6.6.0 UpgradeHelper v3.0.0 plugin only if you are using a LogPoint v5.2.0 or earlier ISO system.
• Install LogPoint-6.6.0 UpgradeHelper v3.0.0 plugin before upgrading the system to LogPoint v6.6.0.

Description

A LogPoint system upgraded from the v5.2.0 ISO and earlier cannot be updated to LogPoint v6.6.0. This is caused because the system fails to pass all the preconditions required for the v6.6.0 upgrade.

Once you install the LogPoint-6.6.0 Upgrade Helper v3.0.0 application, it performs changes on the system to satisfy all the preconditions for the v6.6.0 upgrade.

Therefore, you must install the LogPoint-6.6.0 Upgrade Helper v3.0.0 application on a machine upgraded from the v5.2.0 ISO and earlier before applying the v6.6.0 update.

Installation

Follow these steps to download and install the LogPoint-6.6.0 UpgradeHelper v3.0.0 application:

1. Download the application_LogPoint-6.6.0_UpgradeHelper_3.0.0.pak file from the Download section above.
2. On your machine, go to Settings >> System >> Applications.
3. Click Import.
4. Browse for the downloaded application_LogPoint-6.6.0_UpgradeHelper_3.0.0.pak.
5. Click Upload.

After successfully installing the plugin, LogPoint-6.6.0 UpgradeHelper is displayed under Settings >> System >> Plugins.

After updating LogPoint to v6.6.0, you can remove the plugin at any time in the future.
