SAP systems, modules and technologies

Hi SAP Team,

I often get the question about what range of SAP systems, modules  and technologies are supported? Do we have an official list I could share with customers in the future?

Hey,

The majority of mission-critical SAP systems at customers runs on the so-called SAP NetWeaver technology platform. There are application servers based on ABAP (SAP’s proprietary programming language) or JAVA.

We offer several products targeting the different SAP technology platforms.

  • LogPoint for SAP Extended covers SAP NetWeaver ABAP.
  • LogPoint for SAP Light covers SAP NetWeaver ABAP and JAVA.
  • LogPoint for SAP HANA covers the SAP HANA database layer.

For ABAP based systems we support SAP systems with underlying SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP of version 7.1 or higher.

LogPoint for SAP Extended is also certified by SAP for SAP S/4HANA.

The products work with any SAP module based on SAP NetWeaver Application Server, e.g. ERP, CRM, ...
