Search Head is inaccessible if the Distributed Logpoint is upgraded to version 7.8.0 and Distributed Logpoints page is accessed when the Search Head is on an earlier version

Description:

After upgrading Distributed Logpoint to version 7.8.0, if the Search Head is running on an earlier version, navigating to the Distributed Logpoints page may make the Search Head inaccessible.

Recommendations:

  • Upgrade the Search Head before upgrading any DLPs. For this, you must login to each DLP connected to the Search Head and install the patch. 

  • If the DLP must be upgraded first, switch to the DLP using the DLP Switcher from System Settings. Then, navigate to the Upgrade page and install the patch. Ensure you remain on the System Settings page until the upgrade is completed.
